Purpose of this website
This website is operated by the company under the trading name NEON Tech Canarias and exists to book on-site IT support visits for businesses and professionals located on the island of Tenerife. The site lets you describe a problem, reserve a visiting slot and authorise payment for the service.
The service is aimed exclusively at companies, sole traders and organisations acting within their professional activity. No IT support is offered to consumers at private residences through this site.
Terms of use
By accessing and using this website you accept these terms in full. We reserve the right to amend them at any time; continued use after any change constitutes acceptance.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, images, design, logo and source code — is the exclusive property of the company or its licensors and is protected under Spanish and European Union intellectual property law. Reproduction, distribution or modification without express written consent is prohibited.
Liability
The company is not liable for damages arising from the use of this website, technical errors or service interruptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw content at any time without prior notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
Section 2
Terms of Service
These terms govern the booking of on-site IT support visits through this website.
Scope of the service
- The service consists of a technician travelling to the client's premises to diagnose and, where possible, resolve an IT problem on site.
- Coverage is limited to the municipalities in the north and metropolitan area of Tenerife listed on the coverage page. Visits are not carried out on other islands or outside that area, except by express written agreement.
- The service is provided only to companies, sole traders and professional organisations. The client confirms they are acting within their business or professional activity.
Price and invoicing
- The first hour of the visit costs 35 €, IGIC included, and covers travel within the published coverage area (north and metropolitan Tenerife).
- Each additional hour is billed at 14 €, IGIC included, counted in whole started hours.
- The first hour is the minimum billable unit: it is charged in full even if the work finishes sooner, because it covers travel and diagnosis.
- Parts, hardware and software licences are not included in the visit price. They are quoted separately and always require the client's prior approval.
- An electronic invoice is issued in the name of the company or sole trader whose tax details are entered in the booking form, with IGIC itemised.
Pre-authorisation and charging
Payment is handled by card pre-authorisation through Revolut Merchant, as follows:
- When the booking is confirmed, the card issuer holds the estimated amount of the visit. No charge is made at that point: the money stays in the client's account, simply blocked.
- The hold is valid for a maximum of 31 calendar days from the booking.
- Once the visit is completed, we capture the amount corresponding to the hours actually worked, which can never exceed the amount held.
- If the work requires more hours than were booked, the technician will say so at the time and the excess is paid by an additional payment link or added to the invoice, as agreed between the parties.
- If the visit does not take place, the hold is released and the amount becomes available again within the timeframe set by the client's bank, typically 1 to 7 business days.
Cancellation by the company
If the company cancels the visit for internal reasons of its own — technician unavailable, vehicle breakdown, operational incidents or any other cause attributable to the company — the pre-authorisation is released in full and the client pays nothing. In such cases the client is offered a new visit date on a priority basis.
Cancellation by the client
- The client may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the confirmed slot, by email or WhatsApp.
- If the technician arrives at the stated address and cannot access the premises or no responsible person is present, the visit is treated as carried out and the full first hour is invoiced.
Client obligations
- Provide access to the premises and to the equipment concerned within the confirmed time window.
- Have available the credentials, licences and authorisations needed to work on the equipment.
- Back up critical information before the intervention. We strongly recommend doing so whenever the equipment allows it.
- Disclose anything relevant to the technician's safety or to the work itself.
Warranty and limitation of liability
- Work carried out carries a 30 calendar day warranty on the specific problem addressed. If the same problem recurs within that period, the follow-up visit is not charged.
- The warranty does not cover new faults, damage caused by third parties, misuse, later configuration changes made by the client, or subsequent hardware failure.
- The company is not liable for data loss that pre-existed the visit or that results from hardware failure, since retaining and backing up information is the client's responsibility.
- Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, total liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the visit concerned.
Complaints
Any complaint can be sent to our contact email. We undertake to respond within a maximum of 15 business days.
