Data recovery for businesses in Tenerife
We come to your premises, diagnose the drive on site and tell you honestly what can and cannot be recovered. From 35 € for the first hour.
First thing: turn the machine off
If files have been deleted by mistake or a drive has started failing, every minute the machine stays on reduces the chance of recovery. The system keeps writing in the background and can overwrite exactly what we are looking for. Shut it down and call us before installing recovery software downloaded from the internet, which is the most common way a recoverable case becomes a lost one.
What one visit can and cannot do
On site we can recover accidental deletions, lost partitions, systems that will not boot but whose drive is healthy, corrupted Office files, and data from machines with a damaged Windows install. That covers most office cases.
What a visit cannot fix is physical failure. A drive that clicks, will not spin, or has taken a knock or a power surge needs a clean room and laboratory equipment. In that situation we will not open it or experiment: we diagnose it, tell you plainly, and point you towards specialist labs. We would rather lose the job than destroy your data by pushing on.
Ransomware
If files have appeared encrypted with an odd extension and a note demanding payment, the priority is isolating the machine from the network immediately so it stops encrypting shared drives. In some cases data can be recovered from backups, previous Windows versions or snapshots the attack did not manage to delete.
We will be straight with you: recovery is not always possible, and anyone promising otherwise up front is not being honest. What we can commit to is a clear diagnosis, containing the damage, and leaving the system clean with working backups so it does not happen again.
The part that prevents the next call
Nearly every data loss case we see has the same underlying cause: a backup was configured years ago, had not run for months, and nobody knew because nobody checked. A backup you never restore from is not a backup, it is an assumption.
Once the incident is resolved we set up an automated backup on a simple rule: one local copy for fast restores and one off-site for what you cannot afford to lose, with verification so you find out the day it fails rather than six months later.
